The Yarra Rise brand is the collaboration of three consecutive generations of the De Bortoli Family which first began trading in Victorian beef in 1965.
From humble beginnings, the family business began as a local butcher store in Lygon Street, Melbourne. Established by Italian immigrant Rino De Bortoli, the store’s reputation for quality quickly grew. Over the next five decades the business has grown to become Victoria’s leading supplier of quality protein to both retail and wholesale customers. While Rino has now handed over the running of the company to the second and third generations, he now runs the family farm in Victoria’s picturesque Yarra Valley where the Yarra Rise brand has craftfully been developed.
Only securing the best breeding stock and supply partners, the Yarra Rise herd enjoys the rich valley climate, lush pastures and winter feed to produce premium beef of supple texture and mouthwatering flavour.
Following on from the principles that Rino made in 1965, the Yarra Rise seal represents quality, value and dedication to the end customer’s enjoyment.
